OPTİMİST HOUSE

We have started our way with an optimistic philosophy and settled down in Çirali 10 years ago. Who we are? Gülay and Hasan, I mean the Kiliç family. Then we have continued our way by dealing with tourism business with a 5 room pension that we name as Optimist House. It's impossible to be pessimist in Çirali, isn't it?

Our pension has 5 rooms and there are air condition, minibar, hair dryer, make up table, beach towels and of course 24 hours running hot water in all rooms. The most important thing is the cleanness of our rooms!

Environment

There isn't too much to tell for the ones who already know Çirali. But when it comes to explain about Çirali, we should mention that it provides one of the best holiday choices to its guests. How does Çirali do this?

With its :

* perfect nature,

* 4 Km beach (Çirali beach was chosen as the 7th runner of the world's 10 cleanest beaches during 2004),

* Caretta Carettas who are the real owners of this wonderful beach,

* Chimaera. It is believed that the Olympic fire has started in the ancient ages at Chimaera, which is 10 minutes (by walking) to Optimist House,

* Olympos ancient city. It's dated B.C. 3000 and can be visited as an open airmuseum, it's also 20 minutes away (by walking) from Optimist house.

* forests,

* natural spring waters,

* ecological farming…..!

Times runs so fast in Çirali, especially when you join to the daily boat tour of the local captains. Or if you enjoy fishing (just like me) you may get mad when the sun downs.

Activities

TREKKING:

•  Ancient Lykian Way which starts from Fethiye and ends at Antalya passes from Çirali. You can take different directions of the Ancient Lykian Way from Çirali.

•  Olympus ancient city,

•  Chimera (Yanartas), Ulupinar and Olympus mountain


DAILY TRAVEL:

•  Adrasan Beach, (22 km away from Çirali),

•  Phaselis Ancient City (37 km away from Çirali. It was one of the most important military harbor city of the Lykians.),

•  EKO Park (22 km away from Çirali. It provides different kind of wild snakes, crocodiles, iguanas and many of the healing plants such as cactuses, bananas, grapes, different herbs from Turkey and all over from the world),

•  Arykanda Ancient City (Dated B.C. 4000. 80 km away from Çirali),

YACHT TOURS :

Captains of Çirali organizes daily yacht tours which starts at 10:30 A.M. and ends at 07:00 P.M.

You can visit;

•  Ceneviz Harbor, Sazak Beach and Çoban Harbor,

•  Three islands and Phaselis Also you can rent a yacht from Çirali and visit Kas – Kekova region by yacht. This mini blue tour takes minimum 3 days.

FISHING: Çirali beach provides different kind of fishes to amateur fishers.

FESTIVALS:•  International Aspendos Music and Dance Festival: It is held in between the last week of June and the first of week of July every year. It lasts for 15 days and combines the international musicians and ballets with Turkish.

•  Phaselis Art Festival: It is held on the first week of September. Musicians and dancers meet at a historical place which dated B.C. 3000
